Man killed in South Windsor crash

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) - A man was killed in a crash that involved a motorcycle and a tractor trailer in South Windsor over the weekend.
South Windsor police identified the victim as 60-year-old Norman L. Poulin of East Windsor.
The crash happened on Route 5 north bound in South Windsor and led to the road’s closure on Sunday.
Poulin was transported to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries. However, police reported on Monday morning that he died.
“If there are any witnesses to the crash, which took place at 6:55 p.m. on May 7, we would like them to contact Cpl. David Johnson of the [South Windsor Police Department] at 860-644-2551,” police said.
